RECORD RAID at Siberia July 23rd!

Record Raid Summer 2011

For the summer Record Raid we're moving back indoors. With air conditioning and light this time, thanks to Siberia at 2227 St. Claude Ave! Siberia allows us to do a few few new things: drink, eat, and have live DJ sets! Siberia does not allow us to: nothing! This is going to be excellent!
As usual, please contact me for vendor details

Here's a facebook page

The Record Raid was great!

We had a few last-minute cancellations, but the weather was beautiful under that big tree, people came, people talked, people listened, people bought

Diggin'!

Patrick put up this beautiful Glenn Campbell poster

I don't know about y'all, but I had a blast. For those of y'all that made it, thanks for checking it out, if you didn't, see ya in June. If any of y'all have any pictures, I'd love to see them, and if anybody would like to help out with future Raids, please send me an e-mail. Otherwise...

Post your loot, I wanna hear what you got!

Less than 10 days till Go Time!

and the weather.com forecast looks beautiful!

I've got 20 vendors lined up with a little wiggle room for one or two more. If you know your New Orleans collectors we've got a lot of the big ones: Terry P, Tyrone, Brice Nice, Jivin' Gene and returning from the summer Raid, Keith from Alabama. Euclid, now backed by a fearsome stock since it became a full-fledged record store, is setting up, as well as Skullyz and punk afficionados the Iron Rail (and cohorts Community Records) setting up. If you haven't heard, The Iron Rail was (unfairly) forced out of their home, so grab them rekkids while you can! We've also got at least 4 new vendors to pique your interest.

Again! Sat March 26th 11AM-5PM

Tulane Zimple Quad at Broadway st. and Zimple st. This is by no means just for Tulane students, everybody enters with no "door charge". it's outdoors after all

Ponderosa Stomp Record Fair

Put together by the geniuses behind New York's  Shakey's Record Fairs, the next record fair in New Orleans won't be a Record Raid event, but we'll love it all the same. A vinyl-exclusive 2-day show for the Ponderosa Stomp!

I passed on contact info from a lot of my best vendors, so I can tell you without reservation to go go go! I hear they've got 20 vendors confirmed and you'll be hobnobbin' with record nerds from all over the US that have come down for the Stomp!
